#FAQ.md
#Is this an editor?
No. MD Flow is a reader and browser. For editing, use the tool you already prefer; MD Flow opens alongside it.
#Is this a note-taking app or a vault?
No. There is no database, no graph, no backlinks, no workspace. It reads the Markdown files already on your device.
#Do I need an account?
No. There is no sign-in, no cloud requirement, and no telemetry tied to your content.
#Does it sync my files?
No. MD Flow does not move your files. If your folders are in iCloud, Dropbox, or Git, they sync through those services as they already do.
#What platforms are supported?
macOS, iPadOS, and iOS. Native on each.
#Will there be a Windows or Linux version?
Not planned. MD Flow is built Apple-first to feel native, and cross-platform Electron apps are explicitly not the goal.
#Is my data private?
Yes. Your files stay on your device. The app does not upload your content to browse or preview it.
#Where do I get it?
On the App Store for macOS, iPadOS, and iOS.
#What does the free version include?
Core browsing and preview. Connect folders, read Markdown, and use the app across Mac, iPhone, and iPad — all without paying.
#What does Pro add?
MD Flow Pro is a one-time unlock that adds unlimited connected folders, a higher volume of recent and loose files, and improved search. See Pricing for details.
#How much is Pro?
$7.99 in the US. Price varies by region — the App Store shows your local price before you buy. Pro is a one-time unlock across all your Apple devices, not a subscription.
#Can I request a feature?
Yes. Email info@markdownfinder.app with what you would like to see.
